Last week I shared the first 10 of 101 methods for building a massive email list. I hope that you have tried them. This week I am going to share with you methods no.11-20. So here they go …
11. Organize a Contest or Promotion
There are two primary reasons why organising a challenge is an effective list-building strategy. First and foremost, it has the potential to significantly increase the size of the email list. As a second benefit, it helps the marketer and subscribers form a closer relationship. Before launching a challenge, it’s a good idea to do some research on the intended audience to figure out what the biggest problem is. The challenge should be based on the identified problem. Before they can take part in the challenge, people interested in it should sign up for an email list.
12. Run Promotional Events
Giveaways are a great way to connect with your audience and build an email list at the same time. It’s a surefire way to grow your subscriber list if implemented correctly. Among the most important aspects of a giveaway are the following. In the first place, the prize should be something that people actually want. Second, participants who refer their friends to the contest should be eligible for extra entries. Third, everyone who does not win should receive a bonus incentive. Despite their effectiveness in expanding a mailing list, giveaways can attract a large number of subscribers who have no interest in the product being offered.
13. Refrain from requesting an excessive amount of information.
It is important not to ask for too much information from the target audience in the opt-in forms or sign-up forms. Some people may request contact information such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses, but this is not always necessary. Keep the information you ask for to a minimum. In order to get more email addresses, one should ask for less information.
14. Sticky Widget:
As the user scrolls the page, the sidebar should remain at the top of it, ensuring that the content is always visible. As a result, the user is reminded of the importance of signing up at all times. Any time and anywhere a user sees the opt-in, they’re more likely to subscribe.
15. Comment redirection.
Redirecting comments to a new page is a common tactic for reaching the most interested site visitors. A user who has already taken the time to share or comment on an article or post has made an effort to engage with the site’s content in some way. To put it another way, they’re just a few clicks away from signing up. These commenters can be redirected to a special landing page designed to entice them to sign up for the mailing list via the comment redirect.
16. The Use of Postal Mail
As a result, direct mailing services can be used for a wide range of purposes, including product sales, lead generation, follow-ups on inquires and re-engaging with customers, among others. Direct mails allow a marketer to present each benefit of his product or service in a consistent manner. With the right message and offer, direct mails can generate leads and sales for a marketer.
17. Email Signatures: A Practical Tool
Email signatures are a must-have for anyone who does a lot of business correspondence with clients via email. Email signatures typically include the company’s logo and contact information for customers to get in touch with a representative. Due to its attractiveness and the target customers’ understanding that they can easily keep in touch with someone from the organisation, it drives subscriptions..
18. Utilization of Online Social Networks
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Periscope are just some of the many social media platforms available to users today. If you have an active presence on two or more of them, it gives you the opportunity to connect with a highly engaged audience that can join your mailing list.
19. Recommendation Systems
Recommendations are given by current customers to others, such as their close relatives or colleagues. It has a greater impact than dozens of presentations combined. These strategies are all part of the process of building a customer base through referral systems, which includes contacting the most difficult to reach customers and building an image of trustworthiness that allows you to open doors.
20. Infographics in the media
The term “infographic” refers to a visual depiction of data or facts. According to Massplanner, infographics are three times more popular on social media than any other type of content, including pure text.
